A: Snap caps can stand up to over a thousand hits.
Q: What is the life expectancy of 22LR rimfire snap caps?
A: These can be hit 10 to 20 times depending on the firearm used.
Q: The “Dead Cap” material in my chrome shotgun snap caps shows a dent from the firing pin. Is this normal?
A: Yes it is. The material will “give” to a certain point and then stop. The dent will not be as deep as the firing pin will protrude.
